De-Jahnae Denard

De-Jahnae Denard is a counseling intern at Fountain Hill Center and a Master’s student at Davenport University working toward a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in counseling from Aquinas College. She has experience working with children and families navigating changes, new experiences, and facing fears as a water safety educator.

De-Jahnae aims to provide a safe space where individuals have the opportunity to learn and grow. She fosters a space of empathy, active listening, and reliability to allow for personal growth.

She has particular interests in working with families and children, including individuals with depression and anxiety. De-Jahnae strives to create an environment where individuals and families feel comfortable engaging in dialogue, aiming to help with growth.
